Important news for all Club members.

Please note that, due to the continuing high levels of virus infections in England, the Committee has decided that most restrictions will remain in the club until the end of September at the earliest despite the PM’s announcement that things can start to open up.

In the interest of members’ and staff safety, table service will continue along with social distancing measures and the booking system.

We would also prefer members to continue to wear masks while moving around the club, although this will no longer be compulsory.

The situation will be monitored and a decision will be made by the committee next month as to whether some or all of the restrictions can be lifted in October.

With membership approaching 500 and an extension of our current safety measures, the committee has decided to put a halt on new membership applications for the time being.
When membership does reopen, we ask that members only sign to propose or second someone if they can personally vouch for the applicant.

Best wishes and thanks for your patience and support
